Mui Ne: Mai Am Guesthouse

      When we arrived at our destination, it was "late", around 9pm and there was only one taxi available. Along with that, there were only a handful of other fellow travelers and luckily, we were all more than down to share a ride! There is a main strip where loads of resorts and hotels are, along Nguyen Ding Street. Traveling on a budget, we opted for Mai Am Guesthouse~>$25/night. Our taxi pals tried to cover most of the taxi price because:
   "But you are staying in less nice place."
While researching this place we thought we were actually staying at a nursing home...mmmm
     Positively exhausted, we did some wandering then collapsed into bed.
     In the morning we woke up just as the sun creeped in and went to the open dining area of our resort for some noms and coffee! In the sunlight this resort is stunning. Clean sand everywhere, open bungalows, right by the water, massive umbrellas covering oak-wood lounge chairs...ahhh

     Soaking in the breeze and salty air, understanding that we were on holiday was a constant giggling surprise. I think I said "I can't believe we're here" far too many but never too many times.

     The rooms are nice, loaded with air conditioning, a large clean bathroom, cable television, massive windows, a little porch, beach side...wonderful chill staff! We already felt comfortable here!
They also offer bike rentals and motorbike rentals! Bikes are $2.00/day while a motorbike is about $20.00/day...we rented them for our whole stay so we got a bargain!

     The staff is very personable and beyond chill. But regardless of this...we had some adventures to embark on. We rented a bike and were on our way....
